Microsoft job listing hints iOS Office apps

Microsoft is planning a version of its Office suite for Apple's iOS devices? Corresponding rumors for quite some time, and in May it was said that Office for IOS and Android will appear in November. A new Microsoft job ad was another hint in pointed to that direction.

Windows 8 Officially Launching In October

It's official, the windows 8 operating system will officially launch this Fall. Corporate vice president at Microsoft Tami Reller, today at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference announced that Windows 8 in the last week of October and will be available in 109 languages. The RTM version should be ready for the first week of August. Microsoft used its Worldwide Partner conference that is taking place in Toronto, Canada to formalize the official launch of Windows 8.

Microsoft Unveils The Windows Phone 8

Microsoft has its own event during Windows Phone 8 announced a new version of its mobile OS, as expected, showed the audience a new version of its mobile operating system Windows Phone 8, which became priemnitsey WP7 and the younger sister of desktop Windows 8 that Microsoft will be installed on tablets, laptops and computers. This is based on the Windows 8 kernel for computers that support multi-core and screens with HD resolution offers.

Microsoft Shows 10.6-inch Surface tablets with ARM and Intel CPUs

Microsoft has announced the Surface line, a new 8-series Windows tablets. The tablets have 10.6 "displays are available with an ARM or Intel processor and Ivy Bridge can also use a Touch Cover-operated keyboard. The demonstrated Surface tablets by Microsoft during the presentation PCs were consistently mentioned, have both ClearType touchscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 or 1080. The Surface tablets are packaged in a Vapor-Depositedmagnesium housing, Microsoft VaporMG called, and have rounded corners.

Windows 8 Coming This October

According to Bloomberg, several well-informed and independent sources said that Microsoft's Windows 8 developments as planned. This summer, the final version ready. In October, the first Windows 8 products in stores shelves. Also, in October the first Windows 8 tablets would be offered for sale.

Mozilla Releases Firefox 11 For Windows, Mac OS X & Linux

Mozilla released Firefox 11. Seems like every six weeks a new stable version of the browser is out to fix minor bugs, it includes the option to import settings from Google Chrome and add-ons are now taken by Sync. Also, several improvements for developers, several problems have been solved and the program works well with Growl again.

How to Jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on Windows using command line (CLI)

Since yesterday the jailbreak for iPhone untethred 4S and iPad 2 iOS 5.0/5.0.1 is available for download .Unfortunately, so far it applied only to Mac OS X. The Dream-Team offers a solution for several hours for Windows users. Well everything is not perfect as it is currently designed asadvanced user . Indeed in order to jailbreak your device you will have to type in command lines. This is only temporary, Absinthe software with a GUI is ready soon.

Windows 8: Refs, the successor of NTFS, has just been announced by Microsoft

Remember, at the time when Microsoft began releasing some information about Windows Vista, the company had promised the advent of a new file system. It was incredible, it was great, but is still waiting. Yes, and finally, it took no less than two versions and then a few more years in Redmond to honor his promise. The REF is the name of the new file system, will therefore succeed the NTFS and make his weapons of Windows 8 and we just know more about the subject since the firm issued earlier in the week an article on one of its official blogs to tell us a little about the subject.

OnLive Desktop Application Streams Windows 7 is now available for iPad

A few days ago, we told you about the imminent release of OnLive Desktop, an application for OnLive to virtualize Windows 7 on its iPad streaming.  With it, you can benefit from some programs such as Microsoft Office suite, yet available on the Apple tablet.This has now changed, since the application is finally on the App Store (U.S. only). The application runs on servers OnLive and retransmits virtualization on the iPad.
